Rockford FC met with Rockford Rotary

Rockford FC was welcomed by Rockford Rotary International and its dedicated members just a few weeks ago. A significant topic of discussion was the extensive volunteer efforts that Rockford Rotary has contributed to the community over the years. Upholding our founding motto, Rockford FC is also committed to giving back to the community.

The discussion included ways in which both programs can work together to enhance presence in the community and broaden Rockford FC's influence within the sports sector, particularly amongst the young people.

Rockford Rotary has been a vital part of the Rockford community since 1916, featuring distinguished members like Mayor Tom McNamara amongst its ranks. Similarly, Rockford FC aspires to reflect on its contributions to the community in the future, recognizing that while its seven years of service may seem brief, they are nonetheless significant and worthy of acknowledgement.

Rockford FC and Rockford Rotary concluded the meeting with a symbolic handshake, signifying their commitment to collaborate towards the shared objective of benefiting the community in various ways. Several Rotary members have children participating in the local lower leagues, recognizing the collective effort required to establish a sustainable program.
