ROCKFORD, Ill. (January 30, 2020) Rockford FC officially joined the Midwest Premier League on Thursday ahead of its 2020 inaugural season.
RFC is dedicated to bringing fun and competitive grassroots soccer to the community and the club believes that a partnership with the MWPL can help make that happen.
Rockford FC became the sixth team to join the league along with Union Dubuque F.C., RWB Adria, FC Diablos and Cedar Rapids Inferno.
With opportunities to face local rivals such as Dekalb County United and many of the top teams in the region, RFC believes the MWPL is a fantastic opportunity to showcase Rockford's soccer talent.
The league schedule has yet to be announced.
